Overview:
FENORA-XT Syrup contains Ferrous Ascorbate and Folic Acid. Iron has several vital functions in the body. Folic Acid, also known as Folate or Vitamin B9, is required by the body to produce healthy RBC and prevent anemia.
FENORA-XT Syrup can be used in the following conditions:
- Pregnancy & lactation
- To prevent spina bifida or neural tube defect in an unborn fetus
- To improve iron utilization and to prevent folate or iron deficiency anemia
- Chronic or acute blood loss
- Menorrhagia (Heavy menstruation iron deficiency)
- Depression
10ml LYCOTRON Syrup 2-3 times a day for 1-12 weeks or as directed by Healthcare Professional.
Ferrous Ascorbate is a synthetic molecule of ascorbic acid and iron. Ascorbic acid increases the absorption of iron. Iron serves as a carrier of oxygen to the tissues from the lungs by red blood cell haemoglobin, as a transport medium for electrons within cells, and as an integrated part of important enzyme systems in various tissues.
The human body needs Folate to synthesize DNA, repair DNA and methylate DNA. It also work as a cofactor in certain biological reactions. It is specially important in aiding rapid cell division and growth.
