Overview of Clopidogrel Tablets:
CHESPOL Tablets contains Clopidogrel. Long-term administration of Clopidogrel to patients with atherosclerotic vascular disease is more effective than aspirin in reducing the combined risk of ischaemic stroke, myocardial infarction, or vascular death.
Clopidogrel which is a thienopyridine-class antiplatelet agent.
CHESPOL Tablets can be used in the treatment of following conditions:
- Myocardial Infarction.
- Stroke in people with acute coronary syndrome or peripheral artery disease.
- Unstable Angina.
- Prevention of thrombosis after placement of a coronary stent.
One CHESPOL Tablet once a day with or without food or as directed by Physician.
The active metabolite of Clopidogrel prevents binding of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) to its platelet receptor, impairing the ADP-mediated activation of the glycoprotein GPIIb/IIIa complex.
