Overview:
DOXINIS Tablets contains Cefpodoxime Proxetil. Cefpodoxime proxetil has a similar spectrum of antibacterial activity to the parenteral cephalosporins ceftriaxone and cefotaxime and a long elimination half-life, which allows once- or twice-daily administration. Cefpodoxime proxetil has proven efficacy in the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia and upper respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue and urinary tract infections.

Cefpodoxime is a third-generation cephalosporin bactericidal agent that acts by inhibition of bacterial cell-wall synthesis.
100 mg every 12 hours for 10 – 14 days.
DOXINIS 100 Tablets can be used in the treatment of the following conditions:
- Pharyngitis/tonsillitis
- Acute community-acquired pneumonia
- Acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
- Uncomplicated gonorrhea
- Skin and skin structure
- Acute maxillary sinusitis
- Uncomplicated urinary tract infection
