200-400 mg/day as a single dose or in 2 divided doses.
Tigecycline 50mg Injection can be used in the treatment of the following conditions:
- Complicated intra-abdominal infections.
- Complicated skin and soft tissue infections.
- Community-acquired pneumonia.
- Multidrug-resistant bacterial infections.
- Hospital-acquired infections.
Tigecycline binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit, halting bacterial protein synthesis and preventing replication.
