Itraconazole 200mg

Overview:

Sporoff (Itraconazole 200mg) is a broad-spectrum antifungal medication used to treat systemic and superficial fungal infections. It is highly effective against dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds, making it a preferred choice for treating onychomycosis, candidiasis, aspergillosis, and other fungal infections. Its ability to accumulate in keratinized tissues ensures long-lasting antifungal activity.

It is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial preparation.

Onychomycosis (toenails): 200 mg once daily for 12 weeks
Onychomycosis (fingernails): 200 mg twice daily for 1 week per month (pulse therapy for 2 months)
Tinea infections: 100–200 mg daily for 1–4 weeks
Systemic fungal infections: 200–400 mg daily, duration based on severity
Candidiasis: 100–200 mg once daily for 2 weeks
Take with food for better absorption

Itraconazole inhibits ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, leading to membrane disruption and fungal cell death. Its lipophilic nature allows deep tissue penetration, making it effective for chronic and resistant infections.
