Calcium Channel Blockers (Dihydropyridine Class)
Hypertension (Essential Hypertension):
Initial Dose: 5 mg once daily.
Maintenance Dose: The dose may be increased to 10 mg once daily depending on the patient’s response and clinical condition.
The maximum recommended dose is 10 mg once daily.
- Essential Hypertension:
For the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) to lower the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage. - Hypertension with Co-morbidities:

Clinidipine is a calcium channel blocker that works by inhibiting the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells and myocardial cells.
