Pantonis can be used for the treatment of following conditions:

• Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD).

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)
• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

Pantoprazole forms a covalent link with two locations on the (H+,K+)-ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell, reducing the last stage of gastric acid production. An antisecretory action that lasts longer than 24 hours is caused by the binding to the (H+,K+)-ATPase.
