Ferrous Ascorbate is a synthetic molecule of ascorbic acid and iron. Ascorbic acid increases the absorption of iron. Iron serves as a carrier of oxygen to the tissues from the lungs by red blood cell haemoglobin, as a transport medium for electrons within cells, and as an integrated part of important enzyme systems in various tissues.
The human body needs Folate to synthesize DNA, repair DNA and methylate DNA. It also work as a cofactor in certain biological reactions. It is specially important in aiding rapid cell division and growth.
