Overview:
Moxifloxacin 0.5% w/v + Difluprednate 0.05% w/v a potent anti-inflammatory and antibacterial eye drop specifically formulated for use after ocular surgeries. Moxifloxacin provides effective infection control, while Difluprednate, a strong corticosteroid, helps reduce swelling and inflammation, promoting faster recovery.According to a study in Ophthalmology (2019), this combination reduced post-surgical ocular inflammation by 83% with faster epithelial healing.

Contromax-MP can be used in the treatment of the following conditions:
Severe bacterial conjunctivitis with significant inflammation
Post-operative inflammation and prophylaxis in cataract and refractive surgery
Anterior uveitis
Ocular surface disorders with secondary infections
Moxifloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA replication and repair by targeting DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. Difluprednate, a corticosteroid, suppresses the inflammatory response by inhibiting phospholipase A2 and blocking the arachidonic acid pathway.
