Overview:
Trany P is a combination of Tramadol Hydrochloride (a centrally acting opioid analgesic) and Paracetamol (a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic). This combination provides effective pain relief by utilizing two mechanisms: opioid receptor agonism (Tramadol) and prostaglandin inhibition (Paracetamol). It is widely used for managing moderate to severe pain, including post-operative pain, musculoskeletal pain, and neuropathic pain.
Opioid + Non-Opioid Analgesic
TRANY P can be used in the treatment of the following conditions:
Moderate to severe pain
Postoperative pain
Musculoskeletal pain
Neuropathic pain
Osteoarthritis & Rheumatoid arthritis
Dental pain
One tablet twice daily or as prescribed by the doctor
Tramadol: Weak μ-opioid receptor agonist, inhibiting pain perception in the CNS. Also acts as a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), enhancing pain modulation.
Paracetamol: Inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes in the CNS, reducing prostaglandin synthesis, leading to analgesic and antipyretic effects.
Synergistic Effect: The combination provides enhanced pain relief while reducing the opioid dose, minimizing addiction and adverse effects
